THE RIPPER SAGA: A PHOTO GALLERY

THE CANONICAL FIVE
The Canonical Five are the five confirmed victims of the Ripper that have suffered vile and gruesome deaths. Below are the pictures from this Ripper Blog:

THE RIPPER SAGA

THE JACK THE RIPPER SAGA
The tale of the disemboweling killer, Jack the Ripper is no stranger to the internet. Even before, Jack the Ripper have left people buzzing over his gruesome and questionable killings of people during the early times. Movies and books were even written with regards to the crimes and killings he has done but none of them can place a single name on who the real Jack is. A tale that remains unsolved even it was 125 years ago.
A hundred and 25 years ago, the infamous Jack the Ripper Saga unfolded at the Whitechapel district of London, yet the notorious Ripper continues to amaze and even scare people up to date. In fact, people are so intrigued by the chain of events of the late 1800s, that millions have fled from all over the world to walk the streets of the East End, the same streets that were once frequented by the infamous Ripper.
THE MURDERS
Many of the people who have heard the tale have been either left amazed or scarred for life when they hear what the killer left of his killings. From disemboweling his victims up to slashing people’s face off, leaving a truly vile and gruesome death to see was his signature move. According to various sources, Jack the Ripper have killed up to 11 people during the 1800s. However, 5 murders have been well-known and were called The Canonical Five, all of whom were murdered between August 31st and November 9th 1888.
Strangely enough, the murdered five all meet a common ground, well, apart from the fact that they are dead, it was know that they were all women and are well, mostly prostitutes. These canonical five victims were Mary Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Kelly - are all believed to have been murdered by the same man.
A list from a Ripper blog regarding the murders of Jack the Ripper showed the victims of murder as shown as below:
MARTHA TABRAM
Body Found: 5am, August 8th, 1888
Location: George Yard Buildings, Whitechapel.
There is much debate over whether she was in fact the first victim of Jack the Ripper.

MARY NICHOLS
Body Found: 3.40am, August 31st, 1888
Location: Buck's Row, Whitechapel.
Mary Nichols is generally believed to have been the first of Jack the Ripper's so-called "canonical" five victims.

ANNIE CHAPMAN
Body Found: 6am, September 8th, 1888
Location: 29 Hanbury Street, Spitalfields.
Annie Chapman had been horrifically mutilated and the killer had made off with her womb.

ELIZABETH STRIDE
Body Found: 1am, September 30th, 1888
Location: Dutfield's Yard, Berner Street, Whitechapel.
The fact that her body had not been mutilated led to speculation that Elizabeth Stride's killer had been interrupted.

CATHERINE EDDOWES
Body Found: 1.45am, September 30th, 1888
Location: Mitre Square, City of London.
With Catherine Eddowes the savagery had increased, with the killer targeting her face and making off with her uterus and her left kidney.
During the 30th of September, the death of both Eddowes and Stride have shown that the killer have killed two people in a span of less than an hour. This story was also plausible because when someone found Stride, they have described the blood to be fresh and minutes later, Eddowes was killed in a location near the first kill.
A solid statement was made that while the authorities and people have been busy buzzing over the first victim, the murderer actually got past through the wave of people and made his way to kill another one.
MARY KELLY
Body Found: 10.45am, November 9th, 1888
Location: 13 Miller's Court, Dorset Street, Spitalfields.
Mary Kelly was murdered in her room. She had been virtually skinned to the bone. Many experts believe that she was Jack the Ripper's final victim.
THE RIPPER’S GAME
During the pursuit of the murderer, Jack the Ripper had his own fun on twisting and turning everyone’s mind on identifying him. He constantly left clues and shit that drove the police insane!
Ripper Letters
During the prime of The Ripper's prime killings, hundreds of letters were sent to the police and local press purporting to be written by the Whitechapel fiend. However, most of these letters were fake and pranks written by either newspaper men trying to start a story or fools trying to strike terror to people. Many Ripperologists (those well, Ripper fanatics who continues to search for his identity up to this day) believe them all to be hoaxes. Other experts believe some (specifically the Dear Boss letter, Saucy Jacky postcard, and From Hell letter) are genuine. Below are the records from a yet another Ripper blog (surprise, surprise)
Dear Boss
A postcard received at the Central News Agency on October 1st, making direct reference to both the murders and the "Dear Boss" letter, is believed to have been written by the same hand. It is reproduced below.
Whether or not the letter is a hoax, it is the first written reference which uses the name "Jack the Ripper" in reference to the Whitechapel murderer.
Transcript:
Dear Boss,
I keep on hearing the police have caught me but they wont fix me just yet. I have laughed when they look so clever and talk about being on the right track. That joke about Leather Apron gave me real fits. I am down on whores and I shant quit ripping them till I do get buckled. Grand work the last job was. I gave the lady no time to squeal. How can they catch me now. I love my work and want to start again. You will soon hear of me with my funny little games. I saved some of the proper red stuff in a ginger beer bottle over the last job to write with but it went thick like glue and I cant use it. Red ink is fit enough I hope ha. ha. The next job I do I shall clip the ladys ears off and send to the police officers just for jolly wouldn't you. Keep this letter back till I do a bit more work, then give it out straight. My knife's so nice and sharp I want to get to work right away if I get a chance. Good Luck.
Yours truly
Jack the Ripper
Dont mind me giving the trade name
PS Wasnt good enough to post this before I got all the red ink off my hands curse it No luck yet. They say I'm a doctor now. ha ha
The "Saucy Jacky" Postcard
This letter was received on October 1st, 1888 at the Central News Agency and makes direct reference to both this letter and the murders of the previous night. Those who believe it to be genuine argue that the removal of Eddowes's ear the fact that the postcard mentions the double-event before it was described by the press both testify to its authenticity.

'From Hell' Letter
On October 16th George Lusk, the president of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee, received a three-inch-square cardboard box in his mail. Inside was half a human kidney preserved in wine, along with the following letter. Medical reports carried out by Dr. Openshaw found the kidney to be very similar to the one removed from Catherine Eddowes, though his findings were inconclusive either way. The letter read as follows:
Transcript:

THE RIPPER'S LETTERS
Found below are the letters that Jack the Ripper himself sent out during the prime of his career as well, a vicious and gruesome killer.
DEAR BOSS LETTER

THE RIPPER'S ENDGAME
In the fall of 1888,the murders has strangely enough, the murders have stopped. London citizens wanted answers that would not come, even more than a century later. The ongoing case—which has taken over the mass and resulted to the production of books, TV series and historical tours—has yet again faced and found nothing about the existence of the Ripper due to lack of evidences, testimony, and tight regulations by the Scotland Yard. Jack the Ripper has been the topic of news stories for more than 120 years, and will likely continue to be for decades to come.
Up until today, The story of the Ripper has been buzzing and taking every platform by storm seeking and finding evidences on the victims, what really happened, but most importantly, who Jack the Ripper is.
